Test and Certification information

Initial proof of concept was provided by a large working model protecting a one metre by one-and-a-half metre area against an 18 inch simulated flood.

The full sized prototype (see News) has now (February 2010) undergone extensive testing, simulating floods of varying intensities and speeds at a test site in Herefordshire, under the management of consulting mechanical engineers, who specialise in the design and construction of water defence system. Trials are continuing.

We then intend obtaining BSI Kitemark accreditation after similar testing by Hydraulic Research, Wallingord in the next few months.
